It sounds like the OS issues ProElite mentioned are true. Some journos also posted some error codes on twitter. Basically expect the console to crash every couple of minutes even after the Day 1 patch. At least that's what it sounds like right now.

Wow, I hate stuff like this because it means a good chunk of people are going to be playing inferior versions of a game when it could have been avoided (MS improving their dev tools or even decreasing their margins with better hardware).

I'll admit this entire predicament is entertaining, but it really downplays the importance of next-gen gaming when so many cross-gen titles are being displayed at the same resolution as its outdated current-gen cousin.

eSRAM could be for ms like the cell was for the ps3? hard to use but payout at the end(but still it is not worth the hassle)

I like CBOAT as much as the next guy but they should come out and confirm every little rumour that comes out.

For one its a great way for them to get caught if someone at MS is spreading false rumours internally to catch leakers and another point would be only a small number of people might know what they know so leaking something real specific would narrow down who they are.


They did comment earlier in the year that the OS was a mess and the rebuild to remove the DRM would only set MS back on development that was already behind so I am not shocked at the recent rumours of that being true.
The only questions seems to be how much of a shit show it will be day 1. Was there talk of match making still being busted or was that just more speculation?

Why would MS waste their time spreading false rumors when they have a console to launch and tablet sales to raise from the dead? It just seems childish for a company to do all of that imho.

Don't know why everyone is making such a big fuss about this, All you have to do is sit further away from your tv, problem solved. You can't see the difference between 1080p and 720p anyways. 1080p is just a marketing ploy like 4k.
