Joe Rogan: Mentally Ill Woke Lunatic Activist Are Running Tech Companies

Joe Rogan and former Apple and Facebook engineer Antonio Garcia Martinez discuss how big tech companies operate like a cult and cater to their activist employees.
The silent majority is silent, so people that press for action get results.

Just put woke projects to a company-wide anonymous survey and smack activist with it.

I think it is corporate culture in that they want to encourage employees to be fanatically loyal to the company and product. If you look at football ultras in Europe, they are based on displaying extreme loyalty to the club to the point that the success of the club or how rewarding it is to follow the games is almost irrelevant. Part of what they thrive on is violence to prove status in the group, and likewise adding other requirements to "true membership" like supporting extreme political or religious positions to make the bar for membership higher.

I always enjoy Silicon Valley talks and books but this is not a particularly damning bit, honestly. Yeah, these massive campuses have facilities like laundry service, big whoop.

Like Martinez says, it's all to get the most out of employees.

Is it woke to not want to be sexually harassed? For businesses (regardless of sector) to not be run by the ol’ boys club?

Thats not woke. Its called progress.
That an old outdated argument. That hasn’t been the case since the 80s. It’s mostly used as a straw man argument or disgruntled employee who got fired. Name one big company that has that issue today that you can really prove.

Huh? You ever hear of Harvey weinstein? Dudes diabetes is so bad that his cock went necrotic and died on him. Then he sexually assaulted and raped a bunch of women. He was the head of a huge movie production company.

If you don't think his sexist rapish ways didn't invade the policies at his company that do some research on it. Cause I'm just gonna assume you're trolling with this question

That’s a not a “ boys club”. That’s plain curruption /criminal behavior.

Even then you have no proof that any of his companies are actually boy clubs.

You show me real proof a company where men are ruling and actively keeping women from management positions.

I’ll wait.

I can see it now, in 10 to 20 years we will be getting abused straight children that were convinced that they were something else because their parents wanted to be in the spotlight. Could you imagine having to come out of the closet as a straight person? It's quite a role reversal. I feel like this is the type of shit you have to figure out on your own.

I absolutely love these videos because of how goofy they always are. This guy is legit productive 1.5, maybe 2 hours a day tops.

- Arrives at work at 9 am, then immediately goes for breakfast, starts actual work at 9:20 am
- Leaves for lunch at 12
- Popcorn break
- Smoothie break
- Heads home at 4:30 pm
- Their house has windows that look out on another building literally 10 feet away
- "A day in the life of a Twitter software engineer", video spends over 50% on irrelevant things like date night and gaming with friends

How he spends his day is irrelevant in a video about how he spends his day?

I get what you mean, but these bosses who want to be your friend or role model and get into every part of your life could make your life a nightmare. One moment they are learning about your sex life or ethnic origin to appear very understanding and tolerant. The next moment, they are using what they learned to belittle and control you (including what fear the most here). The problem is not that people are bad, but that people can even often be a lot worse than you think, and they don't even think they are a problem.

The Disney stance really pissed me off. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company and had planned on going to Disneyland in November, scratched that plan. They think parents shouldn't have the right to say these things shouldn't be taught to their child? It's fucking insane.

Jesus Christ that Twitter video. How do you put a sexualised label like pansexual on a fucking child.

Yep, I have four kids (1, 5, 8, 12) and the three oldest at one point or another said they were either a superhero, an animal, a monster, or many other things. It's pretend, you don't have to go along and say that's what they actually are. I'm not going to feed my kid cat food because she thought she was a cat. My 1yo likes to watch out the window with the dogs and barks, I'm not going to call him a dog. These people have a kid that at some point when they were young either played with girl or boy toys or wanted to put makeup on, so now they're the other sex. It's crazy, I don't know many boys that didn't play with girl toys or put on makeup (trying to be like mom). Doesn't mean they're really the opposite sex.

There was a movie recently released that followed the families of like 4 trans kids and in every instance you can see it was the parents that did this to their kids. It's really sad that a portion of the population has accepted this form of child abuse.

What someone wants and what they get are different. Don't watch a lot of Disney so I had to look up their gay characters.
Being the April season the thought google AI was pulling my leg had occurred then there was Jafar at #2:

The name "Jafar" translates from Arabic as "rivulet" or "stream." Jafar, the grand vizier to the sultan in Aladdin (1992) is stately and refined, with a pencil-thin Van Dyke beard, prehensile eyebrows and dark lids that hint of eye shadow. Unlike the other men in the film, he wears a robe, not pants, and has a cape, and he prefers to use magic rather than get his hands dirty. Many folks, for better or worse, associate this with his sexuality.
WTC49xD.jpg

Then goes on to say:
The lead animator on Jafar was Andreas Deja, who is openly gay, and has worked on Hercules, Lilo and Stitch, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast and Scar in The Lion King. In Tinker Belles and Evil Queens: The Walt Disney Company from the Inside Out, author Sean Griffin notes that Deja "admits to conceiving of the [Jafar] character as a gay man 'to give him his theatrical quality, his elegance.'"

Not to mention the industry wide influence of colour!

I'm still not sure what gender Zoltar is, a question I had long forgotten to care about until now. But that isn't Disney's fault, it's global!

Someone with actual sense, bringing receipts to the thread. The current Disney situation in relation to the Florida bill is a clusterfuck. (Keeping in mind that the informal name critics use for the bill has got to be one of the most straight up false, dishonest, disingenuous labeling of anything in recent times.)

The laundry thing -- you guys are misinterpreting it. I understand Rogan's reaction -- it's yet another sign of pampered millennials/Zoomers that can't seem to do much practical things on their own. "Get the most out of your workers"....? I mean, are these workers chained to their bean bag chair or [insert modern pseudo-hipster shit here as a substitute for bean bag chair]? Doing laundry in 2022 in any developed country is one of the most brainless, easiest, least time consuming fucking things to do in the history of... ever.

All that being said, while I like Rogan, this particular video linked to by the OP is a poor attempt at making the case the OP is trying to make.

The tech company I work at has operations in Texas. Someone asked in an all-hands if we need to pull out cause of whatever flavor of the month culture war shit. So someone made a poll on Blind:

Question: Operate in Texas?
  • I just like working on cool technology (48%)
  • Bothers me a little (20%)
  • Popcorn Emoji (18.7%)
  • Fills me with joy, politically (8%)
  • Significantly bothers me, politically (4%)
  • Other (1.3%)
This lines up with my experiences. You have teh complete loons that ask dumbass questions in all-hands thinking that everyone is with them. The C-suite responds like everyone is with them, but in reality hardly anyone on the ground is. Especially in tech companies that recruit heavily from India. Indians, at least the ones I am friends with, are complete masters of hiding whatever politics they have in the workplace, but are usually conservative as fuck outside of it after a few drinks lmao.

None of these people have read the bill they are upset against. Disney tries to be all things to all people.

A pastor of mine, was a preacher in California that had a Disney exec in the church. The exec recommended mentioning Jesus less in the church to make the church more attractive. There is a mindset there that they want to accommodate everyone, and every group at all times.

I don't know if it's me being jealous or if it just makes me angry on principal. This dude is making well above 6 figures for like 2 hours of work per day. This is exactly what the "avocado toast millennials" memes are about, and I always assumed they were just exaggerations.

It's not even like I'm a ditch digger or a plumber or something, I work in tech too, but this is just crazy to me. I worked for a semi-big software company near SF for a while, and they had some nice things like game rooms, free prepared lunch etc, but this just takes it to a whole new level.

They're tough jobs to get and the work is high impact. Devs may only code for 3-4 hours/day but they do need to perform. It is definitely cushy though. Well paid beyond the perks too. Twitter, for example:

What's crazy is there's even more videos that have come out from this particular meeting. One where a lady straight up says she instills her gay agenda any way she possibly can. Don't want to flood this thread with them cause I'm not sure if it's considered "political".

But anyone saying a certain group of people are simply overreacting for no reason to schools and mega corporations shoving shitty woke nonsense down kids throats clearly are being willingly ignorant and myopic, it's happening and it's not just a handful of cases, it's widespread and I'm glad the majority that matter see through the bullshit.

The forever war series by Joe Halderman has everyone as gay in the future. Being hundreds of years old because of space time, the main character ends up being one of those rare humans: straight. So, Joe knew.

Yea I get that they are doing the heavy lifting for the company when it comes down to brass tacks, but in that video you could see how distracted he was for most of his "working" hours. Maybe a software engineer can deal with that and still produce quality work, but when I'm working on scripting or any work that requires very specific syntax and formatting, it's nearly impossible for me to produce anything worthwhile if I'm getting interrupted or distracted every 10 mins. Sipping a kale smoothie on a sofa with your feet up in a huge open room with people whizzing by just doesn't seem conducive to that type of work. Again, maybe that's just me though.

Just like TV personalities passed off as "journalists" on the "news." ;)

Enough C.R.E.A.M. shapes narratives, even when you know and they know we know, that they don't believe those lies and narratives themselves.
