Peyton Manning signed a 3 year deal with ESPN that's going to allow him, Eli Manning, and a third rotating chair, to essentially podcast over 10 MNF broadcasts each year.

Play by play seems to be out. This is just 3 bros talking over a football game. It's like Peyton Manning is my friend.

Honestly, I'm interested to see how this works. Peyton Manning could have easily made more money by being a traditional color commentator but he chose this route. Joe Rogan is a cultural icon.

I listen to Joe's podcast pretty often but my enjoyment really depends on how much Joe's is talking. The more he opens his hole the less I enjoy myself. Also, I always cringe when he refers to himself as a comedian; bro, shouting isn't funny, it's really not.

I honestly can't even laugh about it. I'm sure there're people out there that like his humor but I'm certainly not one of them.

When he makes a slighty *funny* remark and his guest laughs or chuckles and therefore enables Joe to do a *funny voice* bit I'm always thinking "Joe, don't you see? They're being polite.."

With that said if the guest is interesting and Joe takes a backseat and once in a while asks questions without inserting a personal anecdote it's quite enjoyable. People really tend to open up with him and that's great

I hope Peyton and Eli are more like Tony Romo than Joe Rogan in their commentary. Joe can be great but his commentary once a fight starts is pretty much screaming lol. I love to see more commentators who have a deeper understanding of the game, so they can teach people how it works.

And Romo's a god damn wizard with his predictions.
