Backing up Tom DeLay's claims of "The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior.", John justifies courtroom slaughters and deaththreats:

"I don't know if there is a cause-and-effect connection, but we have seen some recent episodes of courthouse violence in this country... And I wonder whether there may be some connection between the perception in some quarters, on some occasions, where judges are making political decisions yet are unaccountable to the public, that it builds up and builds up and builds up to the point where some people engage in, engage in violence."

Now that's chilling *and* fucking hilarious. A combo Texas based Republicans seem to be able to hit as easily as Guile's spinning back knuckle move.

Yeah, liberal activist judges... wasn't that what Brian Nichols was yelling about? :megarolleyes

Engage in violence?

... so is it just me, and let me know if this is a stretch, or is that guy encouraging terrorism?

The day of that hostage taking and shooting I thought to myself that the conservative movement to undermine the judicial branch of the government could feasibly be partially responsable for the upswing in violence against judges.

Bah! All you other states, you just wish your elected officials were as swass as ours!

oh wow, Sen. John Cornyn "justifies courtroom slaughters and deaththreats"??!? THIS IS SHOCKING NEWS.

oh wait, from the very url you posted:
Cornyn continued: "I don't know if there is a cause-and-effect connection, but we have seen some recent episodes of courthouse violence in this country. . . . And I wonder whether there may be some connection between the perception in some quarters, on some occasions, where judges are making political decisions yet are unaccountable to the public, that it builds up and builds up and builds up to the point where some people engage in, engage in violence. Certainly without any justification, but a concern that I have."

Are you actually trying to come off as rabidly disingenuous or is this just a stupid mistake on your part?

Rabidly disingenous. Just trying to mimic FauxNews style of reporting.
