Are those Naruto GBA side-scrollers any good? I was thinking of picking one up to check it out. Any impressions?
 
what the deuce happened to devilish? that's one of the more inappropriate boxarts in recent memory. i suppose they're going after the lucrative "pedophiles who bought ds's to pictochat with potential victims" audience.
 
How does this (or others that I don't know of) Detective Conan game play? My immediate thought is that it'd be like the "Ace Attorney" games except with the ace attorney knocked unconscious and sitting in a shadow, but I'm guessing not.

No, they're a piece of crap, and the DS game looks exactly the same.
They could do so much with the license (look at the 3D games), but instead they made crappy generic platform game, since they know that they could put a steaming pile of shit inside a naruto package and it would still sell like hotcakes.

...OK, my Nihongo is remedial at best and I'm bullshitting. Nice cover though.
 
When the NamcoXCapcom boxart popped up, my breath honestly caught for a second. Bah, there should be warnings before one is assaulted with such mascot goodness depicted so excellently. I mean, they even squeezed Klonoa on there!

Interesting that there's a Sega Ages release of the original Fighting Vipers. Although considering how poor the VF2 version supposedly was, I don't hold high hopes for it. Probably all the Pepsi cross-promotion has been stripped out, too. (Including Pepsi-Man. ;_;)

Errrr...it's alright but why are they keeping that tagline at the bottom? It says "Why is OZ three people?" That works for the image on the website but having on the box is stupid

Exactly, Harman Smith is a guy in the weelchair, the others are them Killer7 (its personalities) : Garcian Smith, Dan Smith, Mask de Smith (me :lol ) Kaede Smith, Con Smith, Coyote Smith and Kevin Smith :)

edit: wow. make sure you visit that oneechanbara review link just for the bizarre little thread at the bottom. i missed that one at the time. gamefaqs posters are so special.
 
Holly crap at that SF2 cover ! FOr a moment I thought a new SF was coming. No matter what it is I'll have to buy it.
It would be awesome if they ported SFZ2 to PS2 using improved graphics. Just on the backrounds using 3D elements...kinda like SNK did with KOF99 Dreammatch and Evolution. It would be awesome to see again the guy in the metro peeing, the Harrier in Charlie's Stage, the Rolento Stage...Oh god, SFZ2 has the best backgrounds ever !
