After seeing Stephanie's comments about the fight beforehand, I'd guess that the summerslam cross promotion something brock initiated. She made it seem like WWE had nothing to do with UFC other than letting him fight.

To me the problem is less that it's not original and more that we all know it will be worse than what was originally done. If I had any confidence that this Wyatt thing would be a better version of what Matt and Jeff did, I'd be mostly fine with it. But we all know it's going to be a worse version of it.
