I played it, it's kind of a spastic Smash Bros. clone, but I guess that's what people want? I was very bored but then I couldn't give two shits about any of the stupid Jump characters, and I also hate Smash Bros. like it killed my father.

So, my impressions are it'll sell a lot of copies to people who aren't me. Down with Jump Super Stars!

I just had a crack of it now on my DS, I'm not really interested in the game but just thought I would give it a try and can see how it would be really fun, especially if you were an avid fan of the characters in the game. This is going to do really well in Japan, it's pretty much a portable SSB.

I gave it a shot and liked it a bit. If I knew/liked the characters, I would probably enjoy it even more than I did. All I got to do was jump, punch, do some combo thing, and change my character into a thin man with a straw hat of sorts.

I added a multiboot header to the rom (I use a passme so I can't run the wifme demos) but Jump Super Stars crashes on me right after the menu. I did get Famicom Wars to work though.
