Yep, that starts around late '99 iirc - Zandig did take a good bit of abuse to be fair, but Honma got totally fucked over by CZW and in general BJW came off looking like they'd lost the feud.

I only really like the deathmatch gimmick if you are building a beast character using it. It was perfect for someone like Masada from CZW. I don't like to watch just random Joes going at it for 50 people with barbed wire wrapped light tubes though.

I sat trough all of last years tournament of death and it was a weird experience. This first nasty bump was like HOLY FUCK NO but by the end I was just watching it totally passively. Clockwork Orange effect.
