I'm no forensicist, but there is no way that slag fell from the top step and landed in said position with her leg draped over the edge line at.

What the fuck was WWE thinking when they dropped her? Are natural booties not PG?

Bischoff said on Impact that "The Network" had fired Foley as its representative.

17 years ago today Mitsuharu Misawa and Toshiaki Kawada wrestled in one of the best singles matches of all time for All Japan Pro Wrestling. They had both risen to success as tag team partners, capturing the AJPW Tag gold, but after falling on difficult times they went their separate ways and it was Misawa who achieved greater success, toppling both legends Giant Baba and Jumbo Tsurta and beating Stan Hansen to win the AJPW Triple Crown for the first time, the belt Kawada had his sights set firmly upon.

Kawada had faced his former tag partner on a number of occasions, but had always come up short. However, at the 1994 Champions Carnival tournament Kawada came up against Misawa again and this time managed to go the 20 minute distance, as well as kicking out of the Tiger Driver '91. It seemed as if Kawada was getting closer to defeating his former partner to claim his first AJPW Triple Crown and after a couple of pinfall victories over Misawa in tag matches the stage was set for this epic encounter in Tokyo's Budokan Hall on June the 3rd 1994;

TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP;

If you haven't ever watched this match, do so, it's a true 5 star match and one of the best singles encounters you're likely to ever see. If you have seen this match, I'd say that it's anniversary is as good a time as any to re-watch wrestling perfection.

Wow, Bootaaay. You weren't kidding. Thank you for sharing. <3

So watching TNA last night...

Why does Kazarian rip off everything Metallica?
The symbols, font, finishing move...

Bastion of originality TNA is...

John Morrison is the only one that's just a total gimmick copy, from entrance, theme, attire, look, and name. (Jim Morrison of the Doors.)

Evan Bourne = Jason Bourne from the movies/books
Kenny Dykstra = Lenny Dykstra, baseball player
Dolph Ziggler = Dolph Lundgren, movie star. I'm sure Ziggler was taken from somewhere. I just think of Ziggy from the Wire.

I'm glad they've gotten off this naming scheme and give people regular names again. I wouldn't mind more John Morrison type complete gimmicks if they're done well.

Ahh gotcha. Didn't know about the others.

Yeah Morrison's one is pretty obvious but at the same time he did/does a lot that is very counter Jim Morrison so whatever.
Ugg boots, paparazzi, giant fur coats, etc. Jim was a bit of a reclusive cowboy despite the cliches.

Kazarian on the other hand just copied Metallicas shit outright.

If he likes blatantly stealing he should just grow a 5 o'clock shadow and pretend to be Razor Ramone's long lost son or something.

How exactly is Kazarian copying Metallica (I don't watch TNA). Just wondering, 'cause I'm a huge Metallica fan.

His finisher is also called "Fade To Black".

I'm sure his enterance theme is some derivative Metallica song too.

Ah! Haha! That's hilarious. If Lars finds out, he's gonna make Kazarian job to him like he did Napster.

I've always thought Dolph Ziggler was a nod to Dirk Diggler. lol

I watch for Punk and Del Rio, otherwise it's always the same stuff. I skipped out on the main event, and it looks like I didn't miss much anyway.

I thought Dolph Ziggler was a take off of Dirk Diggler from Boogie Nights that got sidetracked when PG WWE took over

Edit: Beaten!

Man smackdown can be weird when you're not paying it much attention, I glanced over to see some guy whom I don't recognize pouring milk (?) over himself, I don't know how such things will help him get over, well bar Kurt angle being the milk based exception.

After the main event of Smackdown...

It looks like they canned in some boos/tuned out the cheers. Might as well make the "decidedly untelegraphed, poorly handled up until now" Christian heel turn official.

On the positive side... Orton nicely sold the belt shot to his noggin. And we should at least get some more great matches out of these two. Still don't see Christian winning the title back, though.

So glad to see you posting these kinds of matches again.
This is the only thing that keeps giving me the courage to watch wrestling nowadays.
Trying to get a lot deeper into the Japanese wrestling scene but it's hard when you don't know anything about who is who or which organization is what exactly.
Not to mention the crossovers that seem to be happening all the time.

Watched Wrestle Kingdom III this past week and had a real blast. :)

do you know dat enemy!

ha Alex Riley is still in the Smackdown opening

Countdown is on![/QUOTE]
I still think its weird we have this year long build up for a match that Cena will clearly win.

It will be nice to see Rock do his thing one last time but still... its like a countdown to the destruction of your childhood memories.

Got the one in section 100. I'm hoping the camera pointed towards there. Gonna have a Zack Ryder sign ready. :)

Yeah they're pretty expensive, and it will probably turn out to be a shitty show too, but there's something about seeing wrestling live that makes it awesome. I had a decent time at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, and it wasn't that good of a PPV lol
