God damn jury duty sucks!!! About 5 months ago I was summoned for state Jury Duty, being told after I served I wouldn't be requried for 7 years to do so again. So yesterday I receive a summons for Fed court, which says the 7 year excusal period does not include them. So long story short I've had jury duty twice in less than 6 months

I am trying to get out of it. I am taking 21 credits right now and working, hopefully they will give me an excusal or some sort of adjournment. Just really pissed to have to go through this again.

I've never had jury duty(I'm 34), last year was my first summons but lucky for me it was for the county. Where I lived USE to be considered part of the county but was then rezoned to be party of the city...apparently somebody in the court system never got that msg.
