BigBoss said:Kojima has confirmed its a PS2 exclusive, he said that it would take too much time to port over to the Xbox and PC which would delay MGS4.
DopeyFish said:or maybe microsoft will be allowed to port the game again (which they did for MGS1 PC)
shpankey said:Like they did with MGS 1 + VR and also MGS2: Substance on PC.
Would be cool, if so. I'm playing MGS 2: Substance now on the PC in 1600x900 widescreen with 16x AF and it runs at a rock solid 60fps at all times and is just stunning!

That's cool... I can understand that. Anyhow, here's a pic I took just a sec ago of it in 1600x900 widescreen, although this isn't a very good scene with much interesting going on, it's where I'm at in the game so far...SolidSnakex said:Don't count on it. Now that Subsistence (and MGA2) is complete they're about to go into full development for MGS4 which is going to eat up the MGS staffs dev time.
shpankey said:One question, why is everyone (including the guys) wearing heavy black eye liner like they are teenage girls in the 80's? :lol
Probably is, cause I had to turn down the Model Detail option to level 2 (out of 4 i think) in order for the game to display the character model's properly (if I go any higher they are invisible). It's a known bug in the PC version. So ya, it very well could be a glitch in the PC version.SolidSnakex said:Are you sure that's not a glitch or something? I don't remember that in the PS2 version.
I never could get it to run in Hardware mode, remember? Also, Twin Snakes won't get here till later today (Monday afternoon). So I went ahead and started playing this. I couldn't help myself, once I started I am having too much fun to stop.SolidSnakex said:Weren't you playing the original MGS, or did you not get around to it?
You should play the game again. It is a constant in the modern MGS games, it was pretty evident in Snake Eater. I was amazed by the skanky looks of the MGS3 cast :lolWell yah I notice it in those shots. It must not happen in all cutscenes then. I never really noticed it in the game.
