Just finished Jak 3

Jak 3. What an awesome story. I was really surprised how it all came together and finished the trilogy so well.
Really really enjoyed this series. I think it may well be my favorite game series on the PS2. I know a lot of people hate on it because there is very little true platforming going on in Jak2 and Jak3, but the story really made up for it in the end for me.

Good times people. I cannot recommend this game enough.

I beat the first two, but I never got the 3rd one. It's not that I didn't want it (I loved the first two); it's just that it was released in November along with a bunch of other stellar games. I just never got around to buying it.

I'll have to get it eventually, though. :)

AND HERE COME THE HATERS

Haven't touched my Jak 3 yet.

I prefer Ratchet btw

I just finished...

Psi-Ops

What a shitty ending.

Really, that's all I got to say.

The final boss fight in Jak 3 also makes up for the horrid one in Jak 2. Jak 3 definetly turned out to be the best in the series.

If you took Naughty Dog's storytelling and combine it with Insomniac's platforming gameplay, you'd have the best game ever made.

Why would you not put the name of the game in the title?

He must get paid based on views. But seriously, this happens all the time and it's fucking obnoxious.

I agree.

I also hate hate hated Jak 3, but that's for another time.

I'm looking forward to playing Jak3 when I go home to the US eventually. Despite the "ANGST=COOL" theme of Jak2 I thought it was a damn good platformer. In this day and age when the tough series of jumps type of platformer is near death, the Jak series is a strong flame keeping it alive. The one temple of trials part in Jak2 had really awesome platforming and made up for any stupid angst in the game.

I haven't read anything on Jak3 yet but as long as there's as much platforming as Jak2 I'll be happy.

the same with me. hope that i`ll get some time soon to play jak 3. i liked the story in the second jak game.

Just started playing. To give you an idea, I've just finished riding around capturing artefacts before the storm (with numerous other off-road vehicles in chase) and got a piece of snazzy armour.

Never played a Jak game before. It appears to have decent humour, story and gameplay. It's also quite interesting, maybe even addicting. Although at points it feels a bit lifeless, it's still an above average quality game so far.

It's a tough game to follow up after Resident Evil 4. Hopefully it gets a bit better from here, though.

The only negative thing I can say about Jak 2 and 3 is that there was too much time spent travelling around the city. I didn't mind driving around the dessert, but it kinda sucked that I had to spend half of Jak3 in the same city from the second game.
The forest level though is the most beautiful level I've ever seen in a video game. That entire area seems so alive, so organic I guess.

Like I said earlier though, it's the story that really grabbed me. And if you love the story all the weak points disappear. Great games.

I loved Jak III. A fitting way to end the story, also a great game. I loved the whole series; I actualy enjoyed Jak III more than Ratchet & Clank III but the former has no replay value IMO(just finished playing the R&C III for the second time). I loved the boss battle where you have to shoot those purple orbs on that giant creature :lol Took me a while buy I didn't mind doing it over again; that's the beauty of Jak III, it isn't frustrating.
