Does it come already charged? The manual makes a point that the light on the back is green when it's fully charged...and, well, the light on the back is green now.

Is this thread done for the sole purpose to announce the fact that you bought an iPod Shuffle?

I've already answered my own question, too.

No, it's for the sole purpose of figuring out whether or not I need to let this rest in the USB for 3 more hours or not. :p

In the time it took you to post and await responses, YOU COULD'VE CHARGED IT. :lol

Just shove it on the charger seeing as though you've got the patience to do the aforementioned. I'm sure if it was fully charged it wouldn't charge anyway so not like you'll be causing any damage. Unless i'm mistaken.

How much are these things and how much songs do they hold? Edu-ma-cate me.

512mb and 1 gb (with a little bit of that being dedicated to the music program). I currently have somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 songs (207 or so) on my 512 due to auto-fill...Not entire library sized by any means, but it can hold a few good hours of music.

512 = $99
1GB = $149
