I was on my way to a club just off oxford street, and i walked past the massive HMV store. There were a couple of hundred people waiting outside, i had my PSP on me, as i always tend too and I was gonna wind up a bunch of people there but I didn't have the balls, so one of my friends did it on my behalf, and waved it at everyone there. Highly amusing.
Later on at about 2:30 on our way home, we walked past the GAME of oxford street which was still open, handing out free glasses of vintage 2004 champange to PSP buyers. We just came out of a club so most of my friends were pretty noticeably drunk and they were hesistant to let us in since we wearnt buying a PSP, so i showed the PSP and say i just bought one and wanted Virtua Tennis. So we got in, and my friends helped themselves to free champagne while i queued for quite awhile for VT.
It was pretty busy in there, loads of staff, few cameras, few media people wanding around. My friend horribly abused one of the press by pretending to recognise him from GME, getting his autograph and picture taken with him, whole ordeal was highly amusing how serious it was all taken considering all the drunks and tramps around at that time of night.
Anyway, theres my useless story of the PSP UK Launch, thanks sony for a well timed launch to help get my friends plastered! I'll stick with my 1.50 that i got £50 cheaper then your retailing it for here, 4 months earlier. Though i did stupidly buy VT and i'm too scared to upgrade my PSP to play it.
