Yep I am sure they were behind this move but that is par for EA's course.

If the original poster has an Action Replay they show an option file save in the community saves for PES5. Have no idea what has been changed on it. In searching option files on the web they appear to have been removed from all the major PES sites. There are some people at PESFan and other sites where you could PM them to send you their option file. Food for thought.

Hope it works, and I hope people get some up there when WE9 is released here in the states. Too lazy to make all those edits myself.

FYI I found it by going into the AR software program. Codejunkies was down when I checked.


if EA is behind this it will really suck if 2Ksports makes a generic football game. They can use the same stance for people offering rosters with NFL players and/or logos when editing teams on the larger sports gaming websites.

I found one set that seems to work, thanks for your help. I'll keep looking for a better one as I know at least the US National team isn't edited on the one I have. That's a shame EA is able to shut down the mod community like that.

man, this game is so tough. I could hold my own very well on six-star in WE8 against Arsenal, Real, Merseyside, Man U, etc., but with PES5 I'm barely coming up alive in five-star.

I didn't know either...haven't been to that place in a while. I was gonna simply blurt out PES Fan, but decided to see if there were some specific links there.

It's the same game, though having said that Konami tends to make two or three slight upgrades per year.

The only real difference is that WE plays slower than PES, it's a matter of taste. I'm used to WE and so prefer it.
