I'm going to be intentionally vague here since he's an internet hound, but basically my uncle called me on Thursday and said I stole some things out of his computer. Which was completely outta left field, since my aunt is my boss and we all eat lunch together at work. I couldn't really explain my way out of it, and he hung up on me. A quick Google search later cleared up absolutely everything, and I sent him the evidence. I called him twice that night to see if he did the Google search but he blew me off.
Cut to just an hour ago as he had to come to my house for something unrelated, and we got into a heated argument. I was calm and collected, as I knew I had the evidence to back up my story. 100% foolproof evidence, actually. But he yelled, said he would never apologize, got right in my face, told me he was a graduate of computer engineering and knew I was lying, before finally admitting he knew I didn't steal it (mainly because all it took was a simple Google search.)
Anyways, that was the first time I've ever been accused of something like that, and getting involved in a "fight" of sorts. But my story is pretty lame and basically this OP should be a jumping point for way awesomer stories of family/relative fights and hopefully redemption. I feel good knowing I cleared my name, and that he knows he done wrong good. Anyone else have similar experiences?
edit: more details here.
