Just want to publicly acknowledge and thank some members of this community for doing nice things and being there for me when things were tough...

This list could be endless.

For one, I want to thank every single person that ever prayed and or wished my mom well in the thread I made for her a few years ago as she battled cancer. When she was alive, the random comments on GAF would cheer her up when I would show her. I appreciate every person in that thread. If I had the time to list them currently, I would.

A few members who did nice things for me that I also want to mention:

John Marston John Marston - this is an obvious one. Many of us could thank you (and should), and I thank you for the numerous times you made my life gold during the darkest days. The messages we traded as well and the friendship I feel like we made. Appreciate you, good sir.

Billbofet Billbofet - for the kindness without any public acknowledgement of it many years ago. I appreciate you.

CrimsonTide CrimsonTide - lol this dude right here! Fun giveaway GAF is lit!!! Thanks man!

paolo11 paolo11 , Happosai Happosai , AGRacing AGRacing , Kenpachii Kenpachii - all these people messaged me privately during my moms battle, and I appreciated those messages. If I left anybody off, it was an accident and I apologize.

DeafTourette DeafTourette for being a dude where I always feel we have a mutual respect for each other even though we disagree on a ton. I never question the respect between us. It takes a real one to man up and conversate with people who disagree. Respect the heck out of you dude, even though I think some others think we hate each other sometimes in threads, we definitely don't, haha.

Just a random thread I wanted to create. I push down a lot of the feelings from my moms battle and the end of her story because of it, even 2 years later, so I don't bring it up much these days. But I wanted to let everyone know that I appreciate you all, and I am here if you ever need to talk.

Much love GAF bros! And thanks EviLore EviLore for an awesome forum!

I lost my dad a few years ago so I get how much it can affect you. I think that when you lose someone, the thing that can be the biggest help is a feeling of being connected to and understood by others. So I'm glad that GAF was a source of comfort for you. I'm glad you're part of this community.

I appreciate you for always challenging me on what I think and for always being full of respect. Got me tearing up right now. No lie.

Edit: I lost both of my birth parents (2020 mom and 2024 dad)... And I wish I knew them better. I'm glad GAF was a source of support for your mom.

Lost my Mom just before COVID. Still not sure if I have dealt with it. Hit this forum a few times a day. It's my happy place.

So sorry for your loss OP.

Sorry for your loss, its hard

Lost my mom during the height of Covid and my dad a little over a year ago and glad I kept their voicemails over the years

When my dad was getting sicker I would intentionally let his calls go to voicemails just to have and he caught on so he got to where he would leave me silly ones and I cherish those

Sorry for your loss. It's very hard to loose someone we love. I lost my dad 6 years ago.Enventually it will get easier and we just move on day by day, that's what they would wanted.

Stay well and i'm trully happy that some fine people were there for you in those darkest moments.
