DC are doing quite a few crossover comics with pretty much everyone but Marvel.

Best Power Rangers too!
Not even close. Usually the only people who think MMPR is the best are the ones who haven't seen much after MMPR. Even the MMPR themselves became a much better team after they switched to the Zeo powers and dumped the old costumes.

Weird, but why not?
Batman / TMNT was absolutely fantastic despite me not giving a shit about the Turtles. I don't care about the Power Rangers either but I'm in.
I hope we get some DC / Marvel crossovers again someday. Sure, not all of them were all that great but JLA / Avengers and a select few others are still a lot fun today.

Since Marvel told comic shops to burn Green Lantern and Blackest Night comics in order to get Deadpool variant covers things have been pretty frosty between them. With Disney as the new owners the chance of it happening is pretty much 0 sadly.

Red - leader
blue - brains
pink - woman
Green - the most powerfull
black - the black dude
pink - asians know tech ????

Assuming that last one is meant to be yellow, Trini was the bridge for Billy to the rest of the rangers when it came to tech stuff. Though honestly on that basis, combined with her more direct martial arts focus (where Billy quite explicitly needed to learn), I'd have put her parallel to Batman.

Honestly what I want out of this is the megazord vs the Superman/Batman robot.

And suddenly a really weird idea of Lex proposing to Rita alerted in my brain.

Also you know what would have been cool? Booster Gold x Time Force or RPM.

Oh, that's pure evil, I love it.

they've been shit about lately too

"My controversy is more controversial than yours!"

"What's your Ranger power?"

"I'm the triangle."

Oh yeah, real fucking all-stars there...

their powers are literally infinity. The shapes are just something from Sentai.

I'm actually surprised the first Power Ranger that actually did a "change" in name was the one that is based more on something fictional and abstract.

Cyborg again? Wtf homeboy needs to go back to the teen Titans

While I don't dislike the character, I don't care all that much for Cyborg, as he's often used as a walking search engine with an energy blaster. Either with the original Wolfman/Pérez 'The New Teen Titans,' or anything that has come afterward, he always comes across as a non-character that lacks presence.

I wish DC would get a clue

The press release that leaked:

DC, BOOM! STUDIOS AND SABAN BRANDS ANNOUNCE JUSTICE LEAGUE/MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS!

Angel Grove’s Teenagers with Attitude Encounter DC’s Most Popular Super Heroes in January Crossover Miniseries Variant Cover Program to Pair Power Rangers with Different Justice League Members

BURBANK, CA (October 14, 2016) – On January 11, two of comics’ greatest teams will combine their powers and abilities for the first time! The Justice League—Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern John Stewart, the Flash and Cyborg—meet Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in a six-issue monthly miniseries from New York Timesbest-selling writer Tom Taylor (INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US, GREEN LANTERN CORPS: EDGE OF OBLIVION) and artist Stephen Byrne (JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA REBIRTH: THE RAY).

“DC and BOOM! Studios teaming up on this crossover is a dream come true for fans of Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the Justice League,” said Hank Kanalz, Senior Vice President, Editorial Strategy and Administration, DC Entertainment. “Stories like this are a great way to have that ‘what if’ itch scratched, combining favorite characters from different publishers in epic adventures.”

Something terrible has happened in Angel Grove when the Power Rangers’ Command Center is breached and the teleporters are damaged! Zack the Black Ranger is flung into an alternate universe full of citizens possessing outrageous powers and wearing strange costumes. Will Jason the Red Ranger, Trini the Yellow Ranger, Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Billy the Blue Ranger and Tommy the Green Ranger be able to get to Zack in time to save him from Batman?

“Everyone at BOOM! is thrilled to be part of an event of this magnitude,” said BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon. “We have iconic characters meeting for the first time that are beloved the world over! Our imaginations have been racing since the moment this kicked off with our friends at DC and Saban Brands. Get ready…this is one event that’s not to be missed.”

In addition to the standard covers drawn by Karl Kerschl (GOTHAM ACADEMY: SECOND SEMESTER), each issue will feature a variant cover drawn by one of comics’ most popular artists, pairing each member of the League with a different Power Ranger:

Batman/Pink Ranger by Dan Hipp
Cyborg/Blue Ranger by Dustin Nguyen
The Flash/Black Ranger by Yasmine Putri
Green Lantern John Stewart/Yellow Ranger by Marguerite Sauvage
Superman/Green Ranger by Chris Sprouse
Wonder Woman/Red Ranger by Marcus To
“With their talented roster of writers and artists, DC and BOOM! Studios bring to life the world’s greatest superheroes, including the iconic Power Rangers,“ said Janet Hsu, CEO at Saban Brands. “With DC, BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands partnering, we will bring fans a legendary crossover that will stand the test of time, just as these historical superheroes have done individually for decades.”

Exactly how strong are the rangers? I've always thought they were just regular human power wise besides them knowing martial arts plus the cool tech. But that new movies makes them at least Spiderman strength wise

They've always been significantly stronger morphed than unmorphed, but they never really show the strength in terms of how much they can lift, but more in how much damage they can do and abilities increased (like jumping hundreds of feet into the air to get into giant robots).

Why does it always have to be Mighty Morphin? Would have been way more interesting if it was based on Dino Charge, the currently airing series.

He's been a founding member since N52 started, not that I approve though. Fuck Cyborg.

Get over it haters, Cyborg and Captain Marvel for that matter is better than all your faves.

So down for this. The current Power Rangers comic is good right? Been meaning to pick it up the covers are gorgeous.

Obviously I'm talking about Marvel premier cosmic and female superhero Carol Danvers.

Well shoo, this is DC.

That said, it does actually make me wonder why the Shazam family isn't part of this. They'd be kinda perfect, since the current iteration is six strong, has differing colour palettes (bar Billy and Mary), and rather obviously, they're transformative superheroes. They're basically Magiranger but in the DCU. Heck, they're (mostly) teenagers too, for futher parallels.
