So as I try to advance in my career I'm starting to make quite a few connections with Korean firms. They seem enthusiastic about working with me, and given the chance I'd fly out to Korea and work in a heart beat. But I'd really like to get some language down.

What are some recommendations for learning Korean? Books, videos, online resources, etc. Please let me know! Also, I need a good English/Korean dictionary something that has Korean words written in both Hangul and Roman transliteration.

As far as level goes, I'm not unfamiliar with Korean, but I'm pretty beginner. I'm decent at Japanese, and mostly fluent in Mandarin if that means anything.

Also, I'd like some recommendations on music and tv shows to practice to.

For music, the more artistic integrity it has the better (but I do like Housey things too - so I will check out Girls Generation...).

For television, I'd like something basic and easy. Maybe something that's designed for learning language, but I'd prefer that they not use "baby speak" because I find it a little hard to understand. So maybe something on the level of Pororo, but with normal speaking voices. Adult shows (like gameshows) are ok if the speaking is clear.

Thanks in advance.
