She got his ass for 18 years now. Hope dat ass was worth it.
She's so hatable but I still respect her to a certain degree. She and her family have remained relevant for years and years while doing next to nothing. It's just good marketing. As awful as she seems, she's still someone that people can learn from. Even Tina Fey said this.

Kim helps exploit her little sister.
The girl was like 14 when I saw an episode of The Kardashians where Kim taught her bikini clad 14 year old sister how to do a booty shake in a swimming pool. All part of creating a fake music video where the 14 year olds were prancing around in bikinis shaking their asses.
Years before that when she was around 10 one of Brodie Jenners friends was videotaping the same girl dancing on a stripper pole on an episode.
That's literally the 2 episodes I have ever watched of the show.. Both times my curiosity got the best if me involved exploitation of one of Kris and Bruce's young daughters.
I don't respect these people whatsoever.

Well to be fair...who HASN'T made a sex tape? Not like she made it just to get famous, it was a beneficial byproduct but they've definitely outgrew the sextape and turned the Kardashian name into a money print. Keeping yourself relevant that long off of something so small does take some good marketing.
I mean the number of chicks I know/have dated who have made a sextape of some type is pretty high.

In case anyone had any "respect" left for these people.. the same episode had sexualized footage of the little sister and her friends.. some of whom have mid-pubescent bodies, some of whom were pre-pubescent.
Not even sure WTF demographic they were trying to appeal too with it.. but these people are practically training their own sister/daughter to sell her body.
IMO that's a decision a woman should make on her own as an adult, not be taught to do by their family.. all filmed for TV cameras no less.

Neeeeeeever said "look up to". Learn from. Learn about selling yourself and marketing. Learn about keeping yourself relevant in a sea of forced celebridom. Do I respect EVERYthing she does? Of course not. But she's very savvy.
I mean just read a BIT about what she's done in the last few years by just being herself. She's made 18.5 million dollars for just being a person that got married and (now) had a child. That's not something you can just DO. She's a spoiled silly rich person but she's made more money than most will ever make by doing nothing other than being Kim Kardasian. Call her a whore all you want but she's proving everyday that she's smarter than most.

If you are powerful enough that people would pay that amount to see your pregnant belly than odds are you don't need the money to start with. But some people are greedy and lack class so they'd do whatever to make some extra bucks.

kardashian baby bump pics = increased viewers/revenue for whatever mag gets them, so why shouldnt they be compensated accordingly?
why? A lot of celebrities don't pimp their babies and pregnancy to make some extra bucks. or release sex tapes or get into fake marriages to get more viewers on their show, etc.
but for whatever reason people care about the reality show that is the kardashian's life.
i say get it all while you can because when people stop caring, all the money dries up.
This is rather bizarre logic. I have a good job, benefits, security etc etc. But if someone offered me 5 bucks to do something simple I'd do it. It's 5 dollars. It's not greed. I just want 5 dollars. I can buy a vitamin water and a bag of pop chips with that.

Sure but how far would you go to make an extra buck? Some people have different limits and have no shame. We are talking about celebrities though so it's different as well. It takes a special breed of people to thrive in a place like Hollywood, people like Kim. Honestly if I was that famous I wouldn't even bother with something like this because I'd be content with the money I have and wouldn't be ok with using my unborn child to make some more bucks. I'd rather keep the little privacy I'd have than do something like that. But it's not like I'll ever be in a position to make such a choice...
But doesn't that depend on the person? You're asking how far would I go but I'm not the same as her. This is something that she is used to. This isn't something that she is going out if her way to do. This is her life. It's just another thing she's doing along with the other things that make her money.
So in my case, it'd be like someone offering me a couple of bucks to design a quick poster for them. No matter to me. I'd do it no problem.
And those celebeities actually do something to gain that status as such. They are actors or rappers or athletes. The kardashians dont do shit they are just good at marketing and opportunists they have no other source of income this is what they live for
The point of the Kardashians is that they have no limits and no shame. As much as the $300k, Kim needs the cover to elevate her fame again by placing her in a long line of major celebrity pregnancies. Her fame-for-fame's-sake trick wears off quickly if she ever lets public interest die down because she has no creative talents to launch her back into the public consciousness. Kris Jenner and co. might be uniquely good at what they do, but their success will always be more precarious than, for example, Beyonce and Jay-Z's.
I dont think theyre doing it for the money(well.. maybe kris is). From everything Ive read Kim is actually straight addicted to the spot light, she'd probably commit suicide if everyone stopped paying attention to her.
So by definition, she's the ultimate attention whore.

She's paid based on her popularity. Silly to assume her obsession with popularity is separate from money. It's possible but to act like there isn't a correlation is dumb.
There's plenty to judge these people for. Being paid for being famous is a silly one to me.
