Kanye is weak. This is some publicity stunt to improve kanye's "badboy" image which never existed. im willing to bet record execs will be using this to promote more of his shitty music.

I won't make another ban bet concerning Kanye - although I did win the last one - but I seriously doubt his album is coming out. And from that MTV article which suggests lots of T-Pain meddling/collaborations (sigh), I doubt Def Jam would release it to go up against Blueprint 3 and T-Pain's album

yeah i know that dates get pushed back all the time (poor redman) but i was just going by the retail computers. and he said he wanted to do the whole album with the vocoder. i don't know about that shit. it's cool in moderation but a whole album?

It's a god damn shame. Sounds like he wants to do a party anthem album instead of Good Ass Job. I kinda gave up on Kanye after the Graduation disappointment, but this news is truly making me shake my head. That album was very production based with little emphasis/time spent on lyrics/writing a good song, and it seems like he's planning on moving in that direction 100% again.

i like enough of Graduation to give it a limp thumbs up but this does seem like he's going to take the worst aspects of that album, run it through the vocoder and spit out some bullshit. i hope cooler heads prevail because i generally dig Kanye.
