Well, he's trying to tell us that we're all equal and stop focusing on what makes us different. Look at 95% of the threads on here lately. It's people dividing and attacking. He's also trying to stress the importance of people over things. He may not be the most eloquent speaker, but I have to admire someone for putting themselves out there and being passionate for what they believe in. That's what I got out of it.

For those of you who obviously don't get it this is the first time his antics have directly effected his fans. Most of kanyes "normal" fans ignore his stupidity and pay attention to his music. This is alarming and surprising due to the fact that he always finished his concerts (unless there was a random issue) and gave a great performance. The ramblings also did not speak to paranoia to the extent he currently seems to be experiencing. Okay, we get it Kanye is an asshole, but if you actually pay attention to the person instead of posting a knee jerk reaction in every Kanye thread you'd notice that this is very much so not like him. Rants are not always a given with Kanye concert but can be part of the experience and he'd usually finish his set afterward. Canceling an entire tour after two botched shows is not normal behavior him.
