IIRC Namco has confirmed this for Europe.

But really, how fun is it to have Katamari 2 when when you dont have the first one? I will probably not buy this just because I'm so pissed off at Namco.

chunk Katamari over to the underwhelming sequel/franchise pile ---- would've liked a new Namco IP --- new schools, underwater zones, and all still doesn't add up to how cool it was to experience something as unique as Katamario for the first time..

and we wonder why sales of Pikmin 2 and Viewtifull aren't as well received
