Well her art was rushed since they had to redesign her. I couldn't tell anything out of the ordinary outside of the terrible running "cutscene".

Well, even given that, she goes from this, to this, to this, to this. They're all drawn well, just Emi doesn't stay consistent between them. But whatever, not a huge deal, I'll live with it.

Yeah I tried it out a few weeks ago. I really like Doomfest's artwork, the presentation and the UI of it. The music is pretty cool too.

Definitely keeping an eye on this.

If it's a commercial release, I think we'll be seeing it a lot sooner.

That sounds like a good price to me. I DLed the demo for Analogue but never got around to playing it, this seems more appealing to me though. Post apocalyptic trappings with musically inclined leads sounds like something up my alley.

Well it's not as bad as everyone said before reading everyone impression i was expecting a lackluster but so far i'm pretty much happy and impressed

I learned that the "Future refused to change" thanks to kenji and the "why are you replying to my questions with questions ? " part was just glorious.

I'm happy right now.

Now you'd realize that i take "long pauses " between routes ..that is because i feel it's better to enjoy them that way ...

Man... the presentation for Cradle Song is so sleek. I'm impressed by the variety of expressions on hand for the girls, and artwork in general is definitely a step up from KS. Writing is okay, I prefer KS' Hisao, so far.

The scene with Rell in a towel as MC gorges on ice cream is just... WTF

The first two acts of Shizune's route are arguably really damn good. The rest kinda falters a bit and could be a bit disappointing depending on your expectations but it's not a bad story though. Just probably not as good as the rest. There's some really good moments that are pretty subtle.

Man I sound like such a Shizune apologist but whatevs.

Well, I still have Lilly's story to go through, but I was waiting until after my school quarter is over before I start it, which would be after this week. Katawa tends to distract me too much from what I should be doing...

Well it'd be a tale set in a high school of some sort where a protagonist pursues prospective partners based upon tried and true archetypes. We just need a hook, an angle of some sort to differentiate it from the scads of VNs out there. I actually wouldn't be surprised if KS has ushered in an interest in dabbling in VN creation.

Well, ideally, it should have some sort of hook, which helps to anchor things. Kind of like pitching a film, something enticing serves as a motivator and as a means of unification; would help us focus on a vision

Well I'd like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable with graphic design, i do some concept art here and there but not as much as i used to and I used to do some writing. So I'm not sure exactly how much I could help out but I'd love to contribute if there's enough interest in this to get it going.

I have some programming experience and knowledge, though I would definitely want to be in on the creative side of things too. :3 Then again, I'm a very flaky person.

You sound like you speak from experience :/ (heh) The typical harem anime-esque formula is a tried and true method of introducing a stable of prospective partners, but has been done to death. It's nice to consider the alternative concept, - boy meets girl amidst a larger plot (Though it'd be interesting to have a choice as to be a guy or girl, for Femmeworth's sake ), something like 999 or Steins;Gate has a very interesting overarching plot but that's a pretty high level of ambition to work towards, involving what I can only imagine to be copious amounts of imagination, research and multiple rewrites in order to get the pieces to sync up. I think even within KS' seemingly ordinary trappings, there is a high level of research involved.

Well. Speaking on my behalf, it'd be a good experience for me. I'm still learning a lot when it comes to design and art and this would give me a good motivation for me to step up my game. Shoot even if this... whatever this turns out to be ends up flopping I would still be stoked just to help out in a project like this. Doesn't hurt that I've got plenty of free time as well at the moment (hell yeah unemployment :/).

You can definitely make something out of this, there's a pattern that this idea would slot right into. You just need to add a target, like for example suppose it was going to be an entry for some fictional (or real, if there is one) visual novel competition, and then there are any amount of movies or anime you can take inspiration from.
