I hated that font that's why I didn't get a PS3 well that and I've always been a Sega fanboy. I can never own a Sony console. I'd give up gaming before owning a Sony

I only agree in relation to the fact that the first half was much better than the second one. But PS4 was a WAY better console than PS3.
Still, I like the latter branding more.

Launch console - a fucken behemoth that weights a ton. Looks like a premium product, like the Mercedes of home consoles. It screams at you in all caps PLAYSTATION 3.
The greatest library of all time (PLAYSTATION 3, PS2 and PlayStation) via backwards compatibility. Support for everything from DVD, Blu-ray, Super Audio CD. More USB ports than you will ever use. Memory Stick etc.
Orchestral boot up and cool jingle for game boot.
ps3 - none of that and a shit wet noodle looking font.
