A lot of this for me was more the issue of what he said when he was first accused. If someone accuses you of sexually assaulting them when they were 14 years old, you don't respond with "I don't remember it like that, but I'm sorry if I did that."
Keep in mind, this was the official statement from Spacey at the time:
That said, I'm not surprised to see any jury find him not guilty, no matter if he did it or not. Any of this would be awfully hard to prove after the fact, and that's a two way street. The same is true for Terry Crews, for example, and he was the victim in his situation.
