It won't be better then Killzone 2. It can't be.
Yea....that's what I'm thinking too. The SP campaign might be better, but the multiplayer? I somehow can't see it happening.
Gameplay doesn't look different from previous installments.
You mean except for the owl (major feature) enabling cover fire, zone control and zip-lining, the way-increased verticality of the combat, the destructibility of certain wall materials, ect ect. In the campaign? Or do you mean except for the total reorganization of classes, new abilities, more vertical gameplay, more open environments, all weapons unlocked, and emphasis on player-crafted battle types in the multi?
Because other than all those fairly huge things, yeah. You still shoot things with guns from a first-person perspective. They haven't turned it into a pet simulator.
It does. They changed a lot gameplaywise.Gameplay doesn't look different from previous installments.

When is review embargo?
how can multiplayer not be better? a lot of stuff from KZ2 is coming back like deployable spawns, and the game looks graphically better with 60 fps fluidity...not to mention no aim assist.
theyre also limiting maps to 24 players, getting rid of the outrageous clusterfuckery.

Great to hearI think those uncompressed direct-feed gameplay videos might be released soon: https://twitter.com/hermenhulst/status/397380232136495104
Then theres the competitive multiplayer mode which, like the games campaign, runs at native 1080p and 60 fps. Supporting up to 24 players across a variety of play modes, Shadow Falls multiplayer combat feels more agile and responsive than its predecessor thanks to DualShock 4′s many refinements and, well, dat framerate.
Nope, already confirmed to be 30+Maybe this deserves a new thread but.. Killzone single player campaign confirmed ALSO running at 60 FPS? Or is this bad writing..?

I doubt it. Game is done.I know but this is a blogpost from yesterday so.. updated maybe?
All you do in Killzone threads is shit them up with comparisons to BF4 and how much better you think the latter is. Not one post, but dozens. Over and over and rinse repeat. If you can't see why that would get grating after a while, well you're rather [insert kind word here]. Not to mention your opinions are rather awful (that's my own opinion lol).
Yeah it was clarified yesterdayI know but this is a blogpost from yesterday so.. updated maybe?
Is the direct feed footage he mentioned earlier in the week coming out today?Bandwidth prepared?

Guessing so since Herman said to check the KZ website in a few hourshttps://twitter.com/StevenTerHeide1/status/397419564046508032

Exited? Hell Yeah!I think those uncompressed direct-feed gameplay videos might be released soon: https://twitter.com/hermenhulst/status/397380232136495104
Probably.. but still.. BF4 on PC is still the graphics target for next-gen consoles. As beautiful as KZ:Shadowfall looks, it's not even close to looking as good as that story-trailer of BF4.
-M
That's fine. Can't debate art direction since it's subjective... but technically BF4 goes beyond what we see here.
Watch that BF4 trailer again. Everything isn't scripted. Then you can head over to IGN.com and look at the beta MP footage. There is just way too much going on in BF4 than KZ:SF.
Well, it's a response to "This is the best looking game I've ever seen.." That includes all platforms to me.
Yes, because the explosions are just sprites.. A C4 charge that causes an explosion may not cause the same destruction, but the internal physics of it are the same. There is literally a burning shader inside that BF4 explosion with particle births and deaths with noise shaping the fire. The lighting also should be consistent. Any kind of explosion (hell, even a muzzle flash) should change the lighting conditions in the surrounding area.
This really is a useless argument. I consider it troll bait.
The argument is not the PS4 vs PC.. The silly argument is that KZ:SF is technically better than BF4 and C3 on the PC...

Seriously, like where can I get a scene similar to this in any KZ:SF gameplay segment? Link please..
I am not the one that started this ridiculous argument. I agree, why compare it to a more powerful platform? I would encourage you guys to go back and read the OP that instigated this ridiculous argument.
Those are very nice gameplay vids. However, they still show the lack of RT lighting of particles on surfaces and static non-destructive environments with little to no affect on surrounding geometry. You really can't compare the explosive reactions in BF4, particles lighting surfaces, and dynamic destruction with the explosions in KZ:SF. We all know there is a lot more going on in the graphics engine with BF4.
I can point out several things in that 1 gif that most game engines don't implement. So it's not that I'm easily impressed, more so that I critique stuff like this for a living.
There was nothing condescending about my comment. In fact, there has been nothing but condescending comments made to me since I started arguing one of the poster's delirious accusations.
PM me..
I'm outta this thread of nonsense claiming KZ:SF > BF4 technical graphics garbage..
The results do speak for themselves... While COD and AC4 may not stand up to the visual splendor of KZ:SF, BF4 does -- which isn't anything new since DICE has always been in the forefront of technology in previous generations as well as GG. I'd also like to point out that while the bigger teams at the larger companies are there to work on several titles, I believe the creative teams definitely have an edge in developing unique assets due to their large size.
Several games with new engines out there.
What does that supposed to mean? Just curious what you think is "next-gen" about KZ:SF that no other FPS has.
