The half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has been killed in Malaysia, the Yonhap News Agency and other South Korean media outlets reported on Tuesday, citing unidentified sources.

Yonhap, citing a South Korean government source, said Kim Jong Nam was killed on Monday morning in Malaysia. It gave no more details.

TV Chosun, a cable television network, said separately that Kim was poisoned at Kuala Lumpur airport by two women believed to be North Korean operatives, who were at large, citing multiple South Korean government sources.

Malaysian police told Reuters an unidentified North Korean man died en route to hospital from a Kuala Lumpur airport. The police said the man's identity had not been verified.

Eldest son of former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, thought to be the heir-apparent ... until he went to Disneyland in Japan.

Korean news saying he died from a poison needle and authorities are chasing two female assassins?

Aiii

So not worth it
I'm gonna assume he was quite heavily guarded, so I guess I'm sort of morbidly impressed they got to him.

That said, I hope NK is liberated soon, this shit has been left going on for far too long now.

Un always appeared like the perfect example of a paranoid dictator but he really goes all into killing everyone who could have any relation to him.

Kim Jong-un's half-brother 'assassinated with poisoned needles at airport'

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's brother has been assassinated at an airport in Malaysia, according to the South Korean news agency Yonhap News.

Kim Jong-nam was killed at Kuala Lumpur airport after being attacked by two women with "poisoned needles," according to local TV reports.

The two women, believed to be North Korean agents, remain at large, TV Chosun reported, citing multiple South Korean government sources.

It reads so much like fake news I'm not sure whether to believe it.

How did they even know they were North Korean, if they're still at large? Aren't North Koreans not even allowed to leave without State permission? If they were there to assassinate someone i'd imagine they used fake ids in which case their ethnicity shouldn't be known and if they used actual NK passports shouldn't that in itself set off a lot of red flags?

Just was at the Kuala Lumpur airport on sunday night coming back to the UK and now big news happens right after I'm out of there. Miss all the juicy events.

My tin foil hat is saying that Jong-Un removed a potential rival at a time in which reports are that his hold on power is starting to slip.

I think the only person who would replace Jong-un would be a leader of the military. The military practically run the country already it seems like.

With all the worship of the Kim family, there would be value in having a figurehead. Especially one who was supposed to originally be the one who was going to take over.

Some reports said Jong-Un executed his uncle or something because Chinese communist party was trying to overthrow Jong-Un and let his brother takeover, with the aid of that uncle.

Damn, that was the more liberal brother. He was actually critical of the regime and said it needed changes. And yes, the Japan Disney thing is true. What a way to go... death by needle wielding assassins. Fuck N.Korea.

I've read about North Korean agents sneaking into China, South Korea, Japan, and now Malaysia. Are their spys that good or do Asian countries just have really lax border security?

Is poison needle a fancy name for a hypodermic needle and syringe or is it something much cooler, like maybe a small needle fired through an assassins pen sized blowgun lol

For those of you who don't know, he has been living in Macau for years and has nothing to do with North Korea really.
