It's a counterpoint to what you said, which is that this will blow over because Kanye has said terrible shit and it has blown over, which the comparison isn't the same at all. People are used to Kanye doing dumb shit, so when he says dumb shit, people forget quickly. America loves Taylor and thinks she's innocent but now there's evidence that she made up drama, people aren't doing to forget this just because people forget when Kanye says something dumb.

And I'm not a "stan", I've repeatedly called Kanye an egomaniac who has psychological issues.

You Taylor Swift stans are so deeply in the bubble that it's at times hard for me to comprehend your position.

They actually made up and had a healthy friendship. If you watched the video, you'd see that they talk like they know each other very well. Taylor did it for the drama.

While you bring up valid points and I can see where youre coming from, answer this? where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that bitch' in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened. You don't get to control someone's emotional response to being called 'that bitch' in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. i wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for m, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I never asked to be a part of, since 2009.

People are either going to forget or talk about Kanye and Kim being so desperate to get back at Taylor that they concocted this scheme. Expect more articles on Slate and elsewhere about Taylor being a victim to an egomaniac and his fame-hungry wife.

Interesting point but you forget something. Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b---- famous".

A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian's claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone

lol anyone who becomes a fan of a singer because they are wholesome. Britney Spears claimed she was an innocent virgin waiting for marriage when she dropped her first album at 17 which got the approval from evangelical parents who only let their kids listen to music from pure Christian artists. Many years later she revealed that she lost her virginity at 15 to the hs quarterback. Her sister Jamie Lynn then got a show on Nickelodean but then became a teen mom. whoops!

I can only imagine Taylor Swift hearing this, having a temper tantrum and storming off while her PR team wrote a note on her phone completely avoiding the issue of her blatantly lying and being more concerned about being called a bitch. If it was such a big deal, why not bring that up at the grammy's.

She slandered kanye at the grammy's and her statement doesn't dispute what she said there, which was focused on the the "made her famous"line, which was a clear lie on her part
