Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Next Patch Will Bring Over 1,000 Bug Fixes, Over Five Months of Work In It

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launched last month in a significantly better state than its predecessor did several years ago, but as with any game of its scale and ambition, it wasn't completely devoid of technical wrinkles. Developer Warhorse Studios has, of course, been at work on post-launch patches and updates, and the next update that releases is, in fact, going to be quite a major one.

That's as per Warhorse's global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, who revealed in an interview with Tech4gamers that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's next patch will bring over 1,000 fixes. "The next patch has over five months of work in it and over 1,000 bug fixes," he said.

Many will be wondering whether we can expect the patch to bring any noteworthy new gameplay features or quality-of-life improvements on top of bug fixes, though that is certainly what five months of behind-the-scenes work would indicate. When we can expect this patch remains to be seen, though hopefully it won't be too long before Warhorse Studios has concrete information to share.

That's why I don't buy games at launch anymore. I will get ultimate edition with 50% off during bf.
This game has been praised as one of the most bug-free releases in recent years, including by journalists with their non-Day 1 patches.

In my 40 hours I can attest I have had 0 bugs or weird NPC behaviours.

I have seen a few glitches but nothing major. Considering the size of the game, that's amazing.

That's fascinating, especially since the game is already damn solid all things considered.

I think I've noticed 2-3 bugs that was annoying (in a very few instances haggle doesn't work, in Kuttenberg sometimes doors leading to shops are locked for no reason ).

Considering the size and scope and the numerous mechanics going on under the hood it is a goddamn miracle how solid this game is running since launch.

I was just thinking earlier today how wild it is that we had only one patch since launch.

Amazingly polished, all things considered.

It makes sense to support great releases though. Thr industry will implode if no one buys a game at release and this games actually deserved it.

I hope it's one of those times where they fix things that makes everyone come back to it. After Lords of the Fallen's big gameplay update, that seems to be the way things go.
