Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Legacy of The Forge DLC Announce Trailer

Henry's no longer just a blacksmith's son - he's the master of a legendary forge. Legacy of The Forge, the second story DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, is coming 9 September 2025.

Put your blacksmithing skills to the test as you rebuild a burnt-down forge in the heart of Kuttenberg. Design and customise the workshop, its surroundings, and your private quarters - with upgrades that do more than just look good.

The base game is a masterclass as is and chock-full of content, I don't feel the need for any DLC tbh.

Love this game (GOTY) but the DLCs so far seem a bit light. Willing to be convinced if people love it, but I will probably wait for the real story DLC which I believe is the third one.

I'm waiting for all the DLC before I start them. Got the platinum trophy for it. Much easier to platinum than Kingdom Come Deliverance 1. Wonder what happened with the rumour that KCD1 is getting a remaster.

This DLC has only two instances where you actually have to craft something, rest of it is story quests and taking care of the forge. It is about learning more about Martin's (Henry's adoptive dad) history.

DLC has bunch of quests, better crafting, housing, etc. Definitely gong to check it out but yeah, game was huge as it was.
I have no doubt the DLC is packed with a ton of great stuff. It's just when games get this big all I can think is why? After doing all the stuff in the first area and then going through the main quest until you reach the second map I felt like the game could have left with me with a "To be continued.." and let me wait a year or two for the next one. As it was I barely did much SQ stuff in the next area and just moved through MQ cause I wasn't going to finish otherwise.

Every time I replay the Mass Effect series all I can think is how perfect the game length is on those games.

You don't have to do everything at once. Basically this is almost like the whole trilogy by itself and dual maps give it a nice place to "rest".

Hmm I didn't think about it that way. Fair enough that would be a great place to rest and then come back to it. Will have to keep that in mind next time I play a massive game like this. I always approach games one at a time and don't like moving on until I finish. Might need to start applying this sort of though process to these long ass games.

Yep. I only have about 10 hours to game a week between work, family, friends, etc…. So I take a break at some point in these long RPGs and come back after a few weeks (or couple of months).

I might pop back in just to do a "refresher" but mainly play other games for a bit. That way you don't get fatigued from playing just a single title.
