Where is my damn Dynasty Warriors 5:Empires?!?!?!?!??!?!

Probably get announced a week before the Xbox version of 5 ships...just like all the other times...meh.

How much you want to bet that PS2/Xbox action game is Samurai Warriors 2...

Does ze PC version of DW4 include the expansions? That would be tight, yo!

If it doesn't, that would be dumb.

So, no new Nobunaga's Ambition for the US (I suppose the PS2/XBX title could be one, but I can't see them going multiplatform with hardcore strategy). I'm not sure why I was hoping for one at this point, but it would have been nice to see. :p

Romance 10!!

I just can't wait. The art looks so improved in this title.

It'll be nice to go back to the RPG-esque system. I got all my ruler play out of 9.

I'm just starting on 9. I picked it up last weekend after Gamestop lowered the used price to $18 used. I like how streamlined it is, after finishing 8 via conquest and getting tired of waiting out the three months between council sessions. :p

I'm sure I'll like going back to role-playing after getting into 9, though.

My only problem with IX is the barbarian tribes (to the north, west, southwest and southeast) were way overpowered. Their cities had 300,000 troops. And they attack any city adjacent with 60,000 troops every couple of months. They just conquer your cities and leave right away. Don't take officers. But absolutely kill your cities defense every time.

I guess you're supposed to keep on sending them gifts to appease them to make sure they don't ransack your cities. It's just very annoying to keep up near the end of the game.

So all I did was let the regional lords take care of the actual enemies, and I focused on the barbarians. Took down 2 of the 300,000 troop cities. (they can only send out 60k at a time, so I just had characters like Lu Bu, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Ma Chao, etc in 2 20k calvary units to protect the catapults, then had a whole bunch of 10k catapult units to constantly lay seige to the cities (with characters that plot/magic/illusion a whole lot like Zhuge Liang)
