I thought there was going to be a twisted version of the Wizard of Oz by the same guy that did the "Alice" game for PC, but this game by Konami looks like it will offer an interesting spin on the Oz story. The music in the trailer is fantastic!

Oz, in this case, is something completely different. It's the name of the main character, and in NO way is linked to the story/movie/whatever. Awesome looking game though, love the artwork!

There are a couple of references to the book, no doubt there'd be more?
In the trailer, he mentioned "Dorothy" in engrish I think. Also, one of the character transforms into a lion-like thing.
