Didn't want to bump the other thread, knowing the rules on that. Anyway, my question is, on Dantooine, I'm looking for Vrook. I've cleared out the Jedi Enclave. A recovered datapad said Vrook is being held in kneith (sp?) caves. Are those the Crystal Caves or someplace entirely different? Where do I find these caves?

Found him. Probably should have left him to rot in captivity. He's continually owning me in that duel. Any advice on defeating Vrook would be greatly appreciated.

Huh was Dantooine the first planet you visited? Do you have a lightsaber? Are you a force user jedi, a warrior or what?

Yeah, I have a lightsaber and force powers. Still, he keeps owning me in a headon battle. I always find myself running, which only allows him to replenish his energy. Did you defeat him? How?

Sorry I can only offer general advice because I went lightside on my first playthrough. But whenever I had a tough fight I sort of depended on running away and sniping with grenades or whatnot (if you manage to adhesive him then you get free damage).

As to replenishing energy... he'll run out of force points eventually so you can ensure that you have way more medpacs then he has force points pretty easily.

Basically stock up on grenades and medpacs. Cheap, tedious, but effective.

Is your jedi a generalist? Because from my experience it's better to go either all force or all warrior. Then you have a strength to exploit.

Honestly, I'm not paying much attention to the classifications. I don't know what my Jedi is. I just arm him and let him loose, basically. Thanks for the advice, though. I'm finding that the dark path is a lot more difficult than the light path. That's how it was in the first game, too.

Just a brief opinion of the game. It's by no means the best RPG of the year, falling well short of SO3, imo. Still, it's not as bad as I remember the first outing being. One thing I have noticed is how similar it is to the first, almost as if the developers decided to only superficially modify the first and offering this up as an altogether new title. Even the missions bear a likeness to those in the first.
