With the Subnautica 2 drama surrounding this company I suppose it means the inevitable demise of Last Epoch.

Well, that kind of sucks, but it is very pricey to support an ongoing GaaS title so it's understandable why the devs decided to sell.

That said, hopefully they won't regret it.

Yep saw this yesterday. Love Last Epoch I really think it was one of the best arpg since Diablo 2. Hard to not be concerned and disappointed hearing the news.

It is but they do have seasons like Diablo and Path of Exile. They've only had two so far with the third starting in late August. Don't need to buy anything though.
