So, I've got this nice new laptop and all, with a widescreen (native 1280x768) display.
If I set or play a game at a lower resolution, the machine will, of course, upconvert the image to fit on the screen. I've noticed that pretty much anything outside of the native resolution, be it on a laptop or desktop LCD monitor, looks like ass.
I know that some machines have an option in their BIOS to turn off upscaling and simply have the image not fill the display. This doesn't seem to. Could their possibly be something in the extended ATI control panel stuff? I can't seem to find it.
Edit: I'm a dumbass. I just found it in the ATI control panel. Thank God, though, it looks great.
