This winter I have collected OZ,Deadwood,6 feet under and the sopranos on DVD to watch during the TV rerun season. I just got done watching the first disc season 1 of OZ and so far I am digging it alot. The on thing that shocked me was that the shrink from Law and Order was a bad ass gang leader. TV shows on DVD might be the greatest thing for TV ever. God damn the first 3 episodes were good I can't wait to see the rest.

When I am done with OZ what would you all recomend I watch next sopranos,deadwood or 6 feet under?

Heh, I'm using Netflix to catch up on Oz this summer as well. I'll get the first disc this week. I've never seen a single episode of The Sopranos, so I'm going to give that a shot too, so that if I like it I can go through the series before next spring's last season.

The Wire's a definite good choice. Early Six Feet Under was really solid too. I personally don't understand the appeal of Deadwood, but others love it.

I just started watching season 1 of The Sopranos myself. Not too shabby. I'd prolly still rank it behind The Wire, Carnivale, Deadwood, and OZ.

Haven't really gotten into The Wire, I'll probably Netflix it and check it out sooner or later.....
