Latest UK Charts - Konga Bomba

Aehm WHAT!? Although the UK obviously had a shortage and this shortage obviously ended, this is a fucking huge boost (and actually the DS sales went up again and Mario Kart Bundle will be released this week ^^).

Guess this explains why we haven't heard anything from Threepio so far ;)

The numbers were from Threepio.

Actually, Threepio is a very good sport.

Anyway, in just two weeks time, it will be X360 vs. PSP - imagine all the negative press if PSP manages to outsell X360 during its launch week. :D

UK gamers, I'm putting you guys on notice.

Until you guys start to apreciate good games and realize that without your support we won't get these great niche titles, you won't be getting off.

Sorry, littlewig. Since you're from the country that made Deer Hunter a best-seller your opinion on these matters is worthless.

Izzy, give us the GBA/GBM and PS2 numbers too and you'll become the best GAF member atm. :D

The hardware numbers are from this thread. Oh, and Sonics numbers are very disappointing. I'm guessing though, it will sell consistently well through Christmas and may even go up over this launch week as many games in the UK do. But there is a lot of competition on the DS right now, just a real shame Sega didn't market this game at all.

If there's "a lot of competition" for DS games then it's between a small minority. Last I checked, the best selling Nintendo DS game is Nintendogs, Lab & Friends. A game which isn't even in the Top 40.

Or not - I reckon Shadow will easily outsell Sonic Rush, both in the US and the UK.

Bundle.

Nintendogs sales are split in 3 different versions and I'm not sure the bundled games are counted.

I mean right now in respect of the Christmas battle. Tony Hawk and Mario Kart are coming out this week, Kirby is out soon too. There's a fair few other games too.

Forget about the bundle, the competition for DS software does not seem strong at all. According to these numbers we're getting people are only buying NDS' that come with Nintendogs. They have no interest in the other games available.

I'd hate to see H:S ratio. Can't be very good.

Not really since Deer Hunter was big in what 1996 and your country is still buying shit every week (except RE4).

The shame can never be erased.

Me, I'm free from criticism on both fronts, because I mostly import these days, but wasn't importing back when you people were buying Deer Hunter. :D

Last I checked PES5, GTA: LCS was far from shit, and the US and Japan are both guilty of buying shitty games/licensed pap. :)

Just off the top of my head I'd guess/predict that 1/2 the top 20 games on that list will sell well in the US:

Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006
Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire
Star Wars Battlefront II
Call of Duty The Big Red
King Kong
The Sims 2
Gun
The Matrix: Path of Neo

to name a few.

Hey man, we're not ALL dumbasses who buy every licensed piece of crap that gets released. Some of us are quite annoyed about good games not getting the attention they deserve too you know.

I dunno, maybe we need to infiltrate Burberry and sabotage their machines so they put contact poison on their clothes or something...
