Mine is getting a whopping total of 14 units, with 10 being the TARD pack.

That sounds pretty damn bad. Do the normal employees know these numbers already if you ask?

If mines anywhere near that I'm going at 6-7pm and asking the manager where I should start the X360 line so I can make sure to be the first guy and 100% get a $400 X360.

I asked my friend who just so happens to be an electronics P.I.C (person in charge) for the info.
Also i was told its going to vary store by store. So calling in is recommended.

Wow. Bebpo's steely determination is making me feel like a real pansy for wanting to show up around 9pm and take my chances. I guess I'll start waiting at 7, too. Eye of tiger, man! Eye of the tiger!

I don't think the PSP can hold out from 7-midnight on one charge. Oh well.

Went by Walmart and found out a couple of things about the closest one to me:

--They're not even carrying wireless controllers
--The person in charge of the game department "hadn't heard about a midnight launch" and just though it went on-sale tues
--Same person said she didn't know how many units they were getting because they aren't told that info.

Uhmmmm...yea, not good :\ I'm starting to get the feeling that this Walmart is so ghetto (which is why I was gonna go there since NO ONE would think of going there ) that they're gonna get like 100% retard packs.

Starting to think that camping out at Best Buy is an option as my buddy works there and says they will have 100 units of the good pack. But then I'd probably need to camp from like 5/6pm-12 which is a damn long time.

Sadly, my connections have come to naught and I have been bumped to the second shipment. This aggression WILL NOT STAND.

So Monday, I'm gonna do all the legwork and find out what my best options are. There's a Best Buy and a Target in the same shopping center a couple of miles from my house, and if I get favorable reports I will swallow my pride and try a Wally World midnight extravaganza. Then I'm going back to the store I reserved my unit at and use the credit for games and an extra controller. Like I said man, THIS AGGRESSION WILL NOT STAND.

Question- those of you who have found out about Best Buy midnight stuff and Wally World- is there any way to find this shit out online, or do you have to actually stop in or call?

Edit: Since I don't have an HDTV currently, I'm seriously pondering a Tard pack if that's my only option. I'll buy the HDD and snag the component cables when I need to in a month or two. But oh! the shame of the Tard Pack.

I feel for you guys who are camping out. It can get nasty. I still have horrible memories of sleeping on the sidewalk with 50 others for concert tickets. Once dawn arrived the 50 that were infront of me grew to 100. Assholes letting their friends walk up and getting in line. There was no security around to put a stop to it and for damn sure I wasn't about to fight some of the fucking rednecks in line who had nothing to live for. Sears and WalMart will be my gaming salvation come the 22nd. Good luck to those of you who are going to Best Buy,thats got to be riot central since thats where everybody will most lkey head to on that day.

Yeah, even if the store gets 100 systems if you're not in the first 20-30 people you might be screwed after they all let friends in.

Checked with my local Wal-mart today. They're getting 24 of each, premium and core. Handing out tickets at 10:00pm, so as not to clog the electronics dept with a line.

The dumb thing is, people will certainly line up long before 10 to get a ticket. :lol
