Wasn't he supposed to "un-retire" and be on another L&O spinoff sometime soon? Pretty sad, I remember the last episode he was on.

The candles have gone out.

And then the LORD David Bowie saith to his Son, Jonny Depp: 'Go, and spread my image amongst the cosmos. For every living thing is in anguish and only the LIGHT shall give them reprieve.'
Whoa. That guy was cool. I saw him on Conan one night and he seemed so damn cool and funny. When I went to NYC in February, I was walking in the village and they were filming Law and Order on the street and he was one of the actors out there. Even got a bad picture of it:

Yeah he was going to play a PI on the show. It would have been a sporatic role not every episode. This fucking sucks he was a pretty good actor.

Nobody puts baby in a coffin... I thought he was a very good actor, he looks like my uncles father...

Damn, beat me to it.

I'll always remember him in FX (the film, not the channel) first for some reason.

Well this is sad. I really liked him in his various roles. Now no more great one-liners on Law and Order. :(

On double murder: "Now that's what I call a two for one special!"

Murder in hotel: "They check in, but they don't check out!"

At least Law and Order Vanilla still has Jack McCoy, otherwise it's SVU for me. It was sad when they had Jerry Orbach's character retire.

:(
