You know, they should just retell her whole origin and the days of Captain Mar-Vell. No time travel, flashbacks or anything of the sort to do it. Just a straight up re-telling of the past but expanded, changed and fitting their vision. A Year Zero and One. Call it "The Year of Marvels".
Huh Zub is tweeting about old tweets where he had just sent in the first drafts of no surrender scripts. The tweets are from last February so they have been working on this for a while. Larazz said he never stopped drawing Rogue he went right from the Uncanny Avengers finale (pre Zub) to No Surrender.
