DVI or not to DVI?

Would it be wise to get an LCD monitor with DVI?

Yes to DVI by far. If you plan on getting a 1600x1200 LCD, however, make sure that your video card closely follows the DVI specification at 162 MHz. There's an article at ExtremeTech that tests various video cards for DVI compliance, as well as provides an explanation for why compliance is important.

it is difficult finding a 19" LCD with a responce time less then 25ms :\

Found a good 19" Dell LCD with 16ms, but only comes in 15 pin
