He's still got a great shot at winning one in Cleveland. He's going to get at least 5 more shots at it because the East is a garbage pile. You figure he's gotta win one of them.

I don't understand how this is happening the Cavs were coasting and well rested for the regular season.

I think this is when playing against the Pistons and Hawks start to hurt you. At least the Raptors had some good games, but even against that team, Cleveland didn't show a bounceback attitude or a backs-against-the-wall drive. That being said, even though they were coasting, they never really showed mental toughness because they didn't have times where they were pushed to the edge. Cleveland didn't show a lot of effort or desperation in their game tonight.

FWIW, I could be completely wrong if they manage to go 4-straight to win the championship, or even 7 games, but I think that's looking more and more lofty at this point. GSW is looking like the team with the killer drive.

in game 3, if green gets 2 technicals and ejected in the first half and curry breaks his ankle in the 2nd quarter, can the cavs come back and win the series?

At this point the only way they are going to win is by taking out Iggy. His defensive prowess on LBJ is more valuable than Curry's shooting IMHO

Fun fact: GSW is 2-0 now when Iguodala gets contact from a Cav player (LeBron offensive foul and Delly's nut shot).

The key is not to hit Iguodala. :p

OP, are you alright? Post if you're ok, I know this was a big shock. Bron Bron doing what he does, who could've predicted this.

Poor OP

Literally. We're going to find out he bet money on the Cavs winning it all. That's the only reason I can think of for him abandoning the second it all falls apart

Or he's one of those guys that got a giant "Cav's 2016 NBA Champions" tattoo.

No. Even the Warriors bench has been dominating the Cavs.

Curry has a combined 29 points in both games so far, he isn't the reason they've won the first two games. The Cavs are getting outplayed at every position.

"The Land" (cheesy nickname btw) is going to go 50 more years without sports titles.

I was just about to ask a question about that.

Do people from Ohio feel embarrassed that the Cavs call Ohio "The Land"? I know I would be if I was from Ohio. What a terrible nickname.

Unless Durant swoops in with some new super team to the Celtics or something...Which isnt an impossible possibility given some of the rumors.

Unless they can swing a great deal for Kyrie and Love, which I doubt if(when?) they lose this series, I think Lebron is going to have a really tough time winning in Cleveland barring some major injuries to Western powerhouses all at once. Unless he does something crazy like takes a minimum salary, convinces Wade to come over on one as well, and they throw some crazy but wise money at some FA's the next couple seasons.

I just don't know what this team can do in its current form to beat the Warriors or any team that is strong enough to knock them out of the playoffs in the next few seasons.

It's too nice in Miami.

I don't think it means Ohio, I think it refers to CleveLAND.

You really think he'll want Wade on his team if he finally gets one in Cleveland? Can't win it without Wade, Wade 4 > Lebron 3 etc.

I think he certainly wants Wade there, I don't seriously think Wade will come though.

Nor do I think Lebron is committed enough to dump his salary. Not that I would knock him for not doing it or anything.
