The nanofigs are not my thing. The only exclusive figs are Fury and Hill, since the others are in their Age of Ultron get up, would be cooler if Cap was in the WinterSolder costume.

Set itself looks nice.

Lego is killing it! All these licensed themes. My inner 10 year old would have killed for this stuff!

Star Wars, LotR, The Hobbit, Marvel, DC, Jurassic Park, Scooby Doo. I'm sure I've missed a ton, but this is just magnificent!

It's a little high. Usually it's 1 piece = $0.10. So it should be closer to $300.
$.10 a piece is the magic number to hit. Sadly, most licensed sets don't hit that but are close. I am thinking there are a lot of large pieces in this, and printed ones that are driving up the cost a bit.

the price is reasonable for what you are getting... the 10 cent per piece average is hard to hit for sets that contain several very big pieces as this one does. plus lots of exclusive printing and the like.

If you're new to LEGO, sign up for their free VIP rewards program. March is double VIP month and you'll get a ton of points for buying this sucker.

Not sure if I'd buy this; I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying the Super Star Destroyer. Don't like the nanofigures.

I like how we have a nanofigure Ironman with a printed head instead of a helmet.

The Ironman minifig with the printed head (given out as an convention exclusive) has to be released for the public finally :(

I remember asking for the ultra big ass star wars lego ships for christmas when I was a kid. And the ultra big ass regular lego ships too.

At the time I didn't know they were so expensive. I was lucky and didn't even know.

On topic, I don't care that much what it is, I just enjoy lego stuff that is long to build. But now I'm a grown up and this is too expensive for me.
Maybe I should have a kid and gift it to him.

oh i don't care about that, i just can't justify cramming my apartment with toys.

i do need something for my desk, though. hopefully they make a little cap & quinjet set.

A Marvel topic not made by Neoxon?

damn, i need to have some kids
This is not a good set for kids. It's hideously expensive, difficult to build, probably quite delicate, and not something you can swoosh around. The Ultimate Collector's Series line is intended for adult fans.

i do need something for my desk, though. hopefully they make a little cap & quinjet set.
They're releasing another Quinjet later this year, so you're in luck.

The Quinjet from 2012 is a killer set, and there is a new one coming in a couple of months. It even comes with Vision.

Edit: and beaten.

It looks fantastic but it's not for me. I'm too busy trying to get all the Star Wars sets I want/need. I'm not feeling the microfigures either. I assume that we'll get one for Ant-Man soon too.
