I thought it looked great at first glance until you realize all those ships are the UCS ships and then you really appreciate it that much more.
Just made a pretty incredible score on amazon
I'm trying to figure out just why it was so cheap, the item description says it is unopened... I see that a third party seller actually has one for sale around that price, so I think amazon's automated system made the price low to make it competitive. Anyway, my gain!
Alfredo Garcia. Bring it to me.I found this on the floor of my workroom today. Who's head is this?

Star wars villain chick?
There is still so much to break down and sort along with random bins around to sort. It just seems endless, but I want to clean it all up before I keep going on the MOC.

It is a bootleg blue lantern Saint Walker head.
Glad to know my pain is not in vain. This is so true. Back in January I started breaking down a ton of sets to reduce the clutter. It has taken months but I'm down to having 10 - 15 sets out on display and pretty much everything else has been assimilated into the collective. The boxes are currently in the work/furnace room but I'm hoping to install a bathroom in that space in the fall, so they'll move into the office / exercise / LEGO room at that point (second pic).
Breaking everything down and sorting takes an unbelievable amount of time. This exercise has actually influenced my purchasing habits. If I know I'm not going to display a set I have a hard time justifying the purchase. I don't do nearly as much MOC work as you do so it seems wasteful to buy sets just to build, take apart & shove the minifigs into a box.
Yo Palacebrother:
Where is that Snowspeeder from i spied in you second pic under the AT-AT?
I don't mind breaking down, but I hate sorting. When I break down I go straight into a few interim bins - bricks, plates, 'other normal (roof, tile etc), and 'other special'
Dumping those first three into the main collection is fairly quick. But I usually end up with a huge box of those small odd pieces that don't fit into a single category. For many of those I have separate little boxes with clip-on lids (so the kids don't knock e all over the floor). That really slows down progress.
Not looking forward to sorting whenever I decide to get into MOCing. At least breaking down sets is rather simple and relaxing.
I now have a 16 QT (15L) full of the small elements you find in the small bags in sets. The one with the 1x1 plates, technic pins, etc. I've already started filling a 2nd 16 QT box. That will be a PAIN to sort.
Is it the microfighter? Slightly modified?
I wonder if they have classic style coloured lanterns now that there are legit classic green and yellow from sets.
Dearest LEGO fans, if you are like me and were somewhat disappointed LEGO did not pick up the Peanuts license, all is not TOTALLY lost since Lite Brix has the license and they are starting to hit stores.
you can already see some on ebay

I will be getting some of these for the figures!
For the Scooby Doo sets is there a cheap way to get Velma and Daphne? I have the awesome Mystery Machine but the other sets don't do much for me.

The smaller sets are 12.99 so not too expensive. I think they will be worth getting for the figures, but that's just me. While they don't look like LEGO Minifigs they kinda remind me of some of LEGO's vintage figure attempts such as Fabuland (only not animal-themed). I'll try to view them that way... lol.Good grief!
Very interesting that Lite Brix of all the brick companies got that license (or maybe only one that wanted it?).
I'm a sucker for LEGO compatible minifigs and will get some as well. I never got any of their sets because they were too pricey buy as a novelty item just for the minifigs. Didn't care for the light gimmick either.
My expectation is the quality will be between MegaBloks and K'Nex quality.
The heads better be compatible with LEGO minifigs! If they are, I'll probably grab more than Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, and Lucy.
I'm more sad to see this than happy.

The same ammount that I spent on those sets I could buy two of each in the US.
Velma is only in the Mystery Mansion, the most expensive set of the line. Thankfully, Daphne is in it as well.
The monster figs in it are great too.
Thanks guys - lotsa responses. I guess (sigh) I will just have to buy the Mystery Mansion then. BTW, the Avengers Helicarrier is amazing. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to put Lego together.
You can get scooby doo minifigs at bricklink
https://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp?itemType=M&catString=856
can save you a lot of money if you are only buying the huge sets for 1 or 2 minifigs and don't care about the other stuff
but honestly, the mansion is a good buy.
I've got both of these, I ended up using the knockoff green hood on the official minifig.
Just an announcement for those who live near Cincinnati. Next month my Orthanc will be on display at cincy comic con. If you want to see it please attend and introduce yourself as well

Ugh. And Temple of Airjitsu next week. God it is expensive few months.Awesome, can't wait till the 1st. So given timing and rumors the next two VIP sets should be the Winter Village set and Hoth Echo Base right?
