MS store says you have reached the quantity of your order yet go to basket and get a 404

ShopTo give a 404 just trying to log into your account ffs

Amazon at the time of typing this didn't even have a Series X listed let alone to order.

Fucking ridiculous shit. And people want online only and no walk in shops for the future.

No, Amazon Germany worked pretty fine, but combining the large user base with scalpers generally targeting Amazon for their pre orders, it's no wonder this shop is the first one to sell out. Especially if people know when to check the shop.

It is just till 09:17 I even couldn't find anything about the XSX on Amazon and the links were dead or not available.
I really thought, that they just forget to push the button to open it for pre-orders.. 😅
 
Try Argos but you have to pay straight away. Add to basket, then select continue shopping and then click the basket icon in the corner and go from there. If you don't you get a 404.
 
Man very glad i went PC only before this gen. I couldnt cope with having to go through all this, especially if i ended up missing out lol.

I got one on MS store in the end, are they usually good for release day delivery does anyone know? I would imagine so, straight from the horses mouth lol
 
Was very tough in Australia this morning. EB Games effectively froze. Lots of cart errors for people who could get that far, after 20 minutes sold out and I never got past confirming my address. JB HiFi had similar issues initially, but then seemed to have half an hour or so of working fine, then sold out for launch and post-launch.

I eventually got one at Target of all places, who opened up around 1pm and was sold out by 1:15pm. They took the full AUD $749, and I got a confirmation email a few hours later, but a lot of other people had their orders cancelled and said a refund would come. EB reopened at 3pm for post-launch 2020 orders, but had the same issues with a lot of people getting cart errors and then sold out when it finally worked. Microsoft Store seemed like a winner at 8am that a lot of people forgot about, but was sold out around 8:15 when I tried. Amazon Aus had a page that launched early, was then pulled, and never reappeared. Weird.

So I wanted to get one on All Access from Game (UK)

So join a queue at 0740 to log in, fine, then the issues start:

  • The Estimated time keeps going up, from 8 minutes to 14, to 20 and so on,
  • Eventually, it lets me in
  • I can Pre Order one Outright just fine but needs a upfront full payment
  • I wanted it on All Access, there is ANOTHER queue for this (Luckily I did join this before the other had finished)
  • Finally, get to the AA page at 0850
  • No Consoles to display

WTF!?

I may just wait til the new year, I have a PC and PS5 anyway, so I can wait, still damned annoying though

Have you tried Microsoft Store? They got All Access plans there Game was a nightmare.

Got mine from Amazon. Might cancel it but Sony's outrageous game pricing is making me want to support MS.

I also wanna find out how significant the performance gap is, if it's notable then an X is worth having for multiplats.

Supposedly the Series X preorders begin in the US at 11:00 am eastern...

I enjoy the hype. I'm on the west coast in the US and I'm thinking about getting to GameStop early and trying to get a pre-order in there, then spam Amazon and Microsoft store on my phone for another at the same time. They open at 8am PT, I wonder if there's any hardcore Xbox fans that would wait outside and I should be worried?

Managed to get a preorder at my local GAME for XSX all-access!

Thank god I didn't just try the GAME website as I was in a log-in queue for 45 minutes, only to find the site was down when I got through
 
I was on the fence, I usually get all 3 consoles over the course of the generation, but ps5 was by first choice. I caved and pre-ordered an X as well, wont get it until near Christmas, but still. Buying Bethesda just pushed it over the edge, some insane value on top of value. Here is hoping for a Wayne Gretzky Hockey 3 from Bethesda..
 
I have one from the UK in my cart but how long would shipping be? Nevermind, I better leave it for a UK bro. Getting antsy waiting for US preorders.
