Level-5 is both developing and publishing Layton/Wright, so it's probably not Capcom's call as to where and how to show it off.

Very true - it's not really clear how much say (if any) Capcom has in marketing the game. I do chuckle a bit though when I remember how at the game's announcement they said it was a "true collaboration" between Capcom and Level-5 and it's just turned out to be Level-5 doing everything with the overall story written by Shu Takumi. Oh Capcom, is there any franchise you won't outsource?

I'm just hoping it doesn't wind up being Professor Layton 5.5 guest-starring Phoenix and Maya.

oh so I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere, but apprently there is now a rumor floating around that one of level 5s big announments for Level-5 world is a Dark Cloud HD collection.

Has anyone else heard anything about this? I was just puttsin around and came across this. Don't know if I would be surprised and it may be a way for them to gauge interest in a possible third game in the series.

That is a Sony owned franchise right? And don't they only talk about things they publish themselves at these things? If so it's probably BS.

Well couple of things to keep in mind, first is that this is the first of this world event to take place, so there really is not a precedent for what Level-5 would announce here. It could very well be some sort of cooperative effort between Sony and Level-5. Second, it's a franchise that has a fanbase (don't know how large) but every piece of level-5 news that comes out there is always a few people clamoring for a dark cloud 3, so Level-5 could very well see value in doing something like this, especially if they want to gauge interest in a 3rd game.

This is a rumor obviously, and as with the vast majority of rumors there is no hard evidence to support that it's %100 legit, but I don't think it's entirely impossible that if Level-5 has any involvement with a Dark Cloud HD remake that they would want to talk about it at this event since a portion of their fanbase really wants it, or a third game in the series. The rumor is that it should appear in an upcoming issue of famitsu, so if that does not happen before the event then you can probably write it off, still pretty cool if it turns out to be true.

The only difference between Level-5 Vision and Level-5 World is that the latter is going to be open for the public and run for two days.

It's still an event exclusively for Level-5's self-published IPs.

Anything related to the Gundam AGE game would probably be through Bandai-Namco and not L5 themselves.
