Life on Mars?

It would just lead me to believe either earth or mars got life via panspermia.

Life on something like Europa would be crazy though.

Europa is always mentioned first as a strong candidate for life and/or water.

Re: Mars, the speculation I hear most often is that, if life didn't start on earth itself, it may have traveled from elsewhere via meteorites.

- Great news! We found a fossilized batch of bacteria in this rock!

- Ok, now what? Your team has spent a decade and $10 billion to find ancient Mars amoebas and shit

- How the fuck do we know? I guess just put it the info a science book and keep paying us??? If you got more budget, we might be able to find more planets and comets 302,983 light years away too

Wait till they find the underground ice stores and the ancient alien atmosphere device. You better believe I'll get my ass to Mars.

I'm more interested in the geology side of things.

We also have undiscovered species in our oceans and nobody gives a damn except for James Cameron.

This Mars shit is just for headlines.

Thats because any undiscovered ocean species are probably freaky looking and with Mars we can fantasize about basically human babes with like green skin and antennas so something you know slightlynon human but totally hot, ideally alive underground waiting for human men to help them re-populate the planet

This sounds like an episode of Space Dandy.
