Nice! I wasn't sure I was gonna get it day one because of all the games coming out, but more than happy to play it on Game Pass after release!

Well that's really good. Still not sure what Sega is thinking with all those LAD releases in such a short amount of time, there's gonna be some overlap for sure.

I'm a bit surprised because I believe Gaiden is the first Like a Dragon game to be on GamePass Day 1? everything else has come later either when ported or sometime after release (7 & Ishin for example)

The 3/4/5 collection and Zero launched on xbox and game pass the same time as well, but yes this is the first game that's launching on all platforms *and* game pass day 1.

I don't play these, but nice for Game Pass subscribers who do. Microsoft having quite the end of year. Scream if you want to go faster. Or just scream.

Both definitely went from day-one purchases to wait until it hits the bargain bin or PS+. Can't justify buying them when they're "free" elsewhere.

I really need to finish Like A Dragon and then have to go back. I started the series at 4, which I felt was a mistake. I have to re-fire up the PS3 to play 4 again and finish.

Does anyone know if you can load PS3 data of Y4 and play on the remaster?

Tbh been playing the series since the Japanese release on PS2. My computer is way more powerful than my PS5 and I was debating on getting this on Steam or Sony.....now it seems like a no brainer.

Btw, how are the Yakuza games on PC? Do they have shader comp stutter or anything like that? That would be the only reason I would play it on console at this point.

Broski, which one is Gaiden? Is it the Infinite Wealth one or is it entirely different?
It's a half length game that has real time fighting like the Judgement games or Yakuza games before Like a Dragon. Infinite Wealth is the full sequel to Like a Dragon which was turn based.

After some real dry months... Game Pass is cookin lately

Just downloaded Payday 3 last night.

Excellent news. I was hoping to get my Xbox friends on the Yakuza train with me but they refuse to get them or Persona. I hope others aren't skipping.

I suspect that MS knew they'd be getting a lot of new subscribers for Starfield and made a strategic decision to backload a lot of new content to keep them engaged.

The one set before Infinite Wealth and connects Kiryu's side since 6.

I think Kiwami and Kiwami 2 also make things a little weird as 3-5 are just Remasters. Ultimately, you just have to take breaks with this series.

Gaiden is a standard third person brawler game that connects Kiryu's plot between Yakuza 6 and Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth.

Infinite Wealth is the sequel to Like a Dragon which was a turn based JRPG.

Good news about Gaiden. I wasn't going to buy it on launch because of no retail version (and importing from Japan is too pricy for my taste).

will get gamepass for sure, for games without too big of a long term mod support, gamepass is perfect since it's a once and done thing.

I feel you. Thankfully most of my main Xbox circle has come around, and even guys who hate turn based combat have been really enjoying Like a Dragon 7. Another one got into it cause of his wife, now they're going through the whole franchise lol. My best friend is finishing up 7 as well to get up to speed with the two new games.

During the story trailer I had to hard stop. It was quite good but too much, I want to go in mostly blind. Next year is going to be insane, hell this year too.
