i know you can do it through command prompt but it'll take a while. windows doesn't let you format anything over a certain amount of storage space through my computer, or at least that's my experience.

Its been like 1 hr or so and yet no one has even speculated about formatting HD via the ps4 itself in the chat. The guide someone posted mocking him says to format HD via computer. The mods are as dumb as he is. Ive sent a message as well as others Im sure stating what to do and they are disregarding messages and saying DONT BOTHER US.
